Tapepro flat box handles have always featured a locking screw to increase friction or lock the head. As an economical alternative, the brakeless handle uses this feature as the only mechanism. There is no grip or cam to operate the brake, you just tighten the knob on the head to increase friction. A tighter friction setting will allow you to sweep the flat box wheels off the wall when finishing joints (similar to a nail spotter brake), and maintain control of the box position when off the wall. Screw in extensions can be used to increase length (HE-600, HE-1200).
