A high-performance compound with superior working qualities, Sheetrock® Brand Total™ Lite Joint Compound offers good open time, facilitating working back under fast drying conditions. Compared to conventional-weight compounds, it weighs up to 15% less, is easier working and sanding, and provides lower shrinkage for bead, trim and fastener concealments. The special formulation also makes it ideal for embedding paper tape and for filling, leveling and finishing over gypsum panel joints, fasteners, bead and trim. This joint compound has achieved GREENGUARD Gold Certification and qualifies as a low VOC emitting material.
